Tapview is a program to view and navigate .tap (4-byte block size) and .tpc (2-byte block size) tape image files. It presents a list of blocks and their sizes, and the user can view the data within each block in a variety of formats via navigation and display option hotkeys. It also calculates the Shannon entropy of block data, as an aid to identifying “empty” or “filler” blocks.
