v620emu runs on modern computers and emulates the Varian 620/L, a 16-bit minicomputer from 1973. The processor, some options, and several I/O devices are implemented. Both TUI “front panel” and CLI user interfaces are implemented.

v620emu takes input in the two standard Varian formats, BLD-II and Varian Bootloader, which our cross-assembler, v620asm, generates.

v620emu takes input in both the BLD II object-tape format and the standard Varian bootstrap loader format; v620asm can generate both formats.
